FOUNDER AND CEO
SHAUN TANAKA
Shaun is the Founder and CEO of Castle Innovations LLC. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts and is pursuing a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Business. Shaun was a Range Safety Officer and is the primary inventor of the CastleLock.
MITCH BAUM
INTERN
Mitch is an intern for Castle Innovations LLC. Mitch is studying Business Administration at Cal Poly with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Mitch specializes in online sales and marketing.

DAN BAUM
ADVISOR
Dan is the company’s first advisor. He completed his undergraduate at Dartmouth College where he received a degree in Engineering Science and went on to earn his Masters at Cornell University in Computer Science. Dan’s professional background in digital imaging and his passion for photography ultimately guided him towards founding Shutterfly LLC.
Sophia Margulies
COMPANY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Sophia is a company development associate at Castle Innovations LLC. She will be graduating from Cal Poly in the Spring with a BA in Sociology and a double minor in Economics and Entrepreneurship. Sophia's focus is working with companies enabling positive change and is passionate about promoting the health and wellness of people and the planet from a business perspective. She believe that Castle Innovations is developing not just a product but a necessity that all individuals will benefit from.
Barry Lieberman
COMPANY ADVISOR
Barry is a company advisor. He currently lectures at Cal Poly University in Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Sales. When he is not teaching, Barry orchestrates market operations for Everything Food Inc as Chief Marketing Officer. He is and industry expert in digital marketing, business development and operations, go-to market execution and modern demand generation systems and processes. Barry has an MBA from Chapman University and a BS in Business from Cal Poly. His deep understanding in entrepreneurial thinking has allowed him to be an angel advisor and strong advocate from entrepreneurship.
Angeliki Harris
COMPANY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Angeliki is a company development associate at Castle Innovations LLC. She will be graduating from Cal Poly in the Spring with a Bachelors of Science in PR Journalism and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Angeliki's vision is for Castle Innovations to become a household name for firearm safety and shift our country's focus towards uniting to save lives. Her focus is working in the world of Intellectual Property and with companies that are trying to change our world for the better.
